Tell us more about yourself!
I am a Swede living in London, offering video content (UGC and spokesperson) as well as voiceovers in English (American, British, and Australian accents) and Swedish.
I love that every project is different. Even after more than three years on the platform, I still get excited when I receive a Fiverr notification, wondering what new project I’ll be asked to take on.
What do you love most about what you do?
I love that every project is different. Even after more than three years on the platform, I still get excited when I receive a Fiverr notification, wondering what new project I’ll be asked to take on. I get paid to lend my voice to something the world will hear, literally, and to bring my face and creative ideas to UGC videos for a crazy variety of products and services. It’s wild.
Why did you decide to work for yourself?
I love the freedom to work from wherever I feel like that day, whether from my dining room window, my favorite café, or even the Italian Alps, where I worked remotely for three months. With Fiverr, I always know my deadlines, so I can plan my work and leisure accordingly.
What does the future of work look like for you?
I want to continuously improve my performance delivery. I love what I do now and want to take it to the next level. But beyond that, I’d love to spread the word about how freelancing on Fiverr has changed my career and help others do the same.
I have 1,000 times more responsibility in life now compared to before I had someone to take care of, and that has been my biggest takeaway: work hard, and you can shape the future of work in any way you want.
In your opinion, what role do women play in shaping the future of work?
Not all women are mothers or want to be mothers. I only became a mother two years ago, and it finally proved to me, after more than 30 years, that HARD WORK PAYS OFF. I have 1,000 times more responsibility in life now compared to before I had someone to take care of, and that has been my biggest takeaway, work hard, and you can shape the future of work in any way you want.
How long have you used Fiverr, and how does it help grow your business?
I’ve been a Fiverr seller since August 2021. I was searching for more voiceover work when I came across Fiverr in a Google search. I made $80 in my first month, which was mind-boggling to me and over $1,500 by my fourth month.
Fiverr has allowed me to do what I love, experiment with new things and connect with clients I struggled to find before. It completely changed my freelancing career.
