Tell us more about you and what you do.
I help business owners get clarity and traction in their business. This can be building out systems and processes for efficient and profitable operations and strong CX, or acting as an accountability partner to project plan and support them staying on track to get things done. I have 20 years experience running a service business so I deeply understand the challenges that entrepreneurs face. My work is very rewarding!
I genuinely believe that entrepreneurs are a special breed with a unique set of quirks and attributes.
What do you love the most about what you do?
I am passionate about entrepreneurship. I genuinely believe that entrepreneurs are a special breed with a unique set of quirks and attributes. So I love using my 20 years of lived experience as an entrepreneur and MBA education to help people achieve their business goals. Contributing fresh insight and the perspective of an outsider provides so much value. It is so rewarding to hear my clients say they feel better about their business and have more clarity. Witnessing change and transformation in their business, and in themselves as leaders, makes my work very meaningful.
Why did you decide to work for yourself?
I have spent most of my life as a CEO and franchisor; so the prospect of working as an employee for someone else holds zero appeal for me. I love being able to set a schedule that works with my travel lifestyle and enables me to have time for family, friends, and hobbies.
For me, the future of work is online. The pandemic forced us to communicate and function online at a level we hadn’t had to previously, which helped break down biases around its effectiveness.
What does the future of work look like for you?
For me, the future of work is online. The pandemic forced us to communicate and function online at a level we hadn’t had to previously, which helped break down biases around its effectiveness. Though there is value in having in-person interactions, it is not always necessary. It is amazing how much trust and connection can be built through video and phone calls; and how much significant work and progress flows from that.
In your opinion, what role do women play in shaping the future of work?
Since women tend to carry more responsibilities for raising children, I see women influencing the shift to flexible schedules and online work. It allows for greater capacity than the rigid 9-5 routine of old.
How long have you used Fiverr and how does it help you grow your business?
I’ve been on Fiverr for 3 years. It has been very effective for connecting me with business owners who are ready to invest in coaching and mentoring!
